Topper Shirt

Ripstop fabrics are used in yacht sails and spinnakers, hot air balloons, kites, free-flight models, parachutes, and hovercraft skirts. High-quality camping equipment such as lightweight tents, sleeping bags, and camping hammocks tend to use ripstop in order to reduce the wear on their fabrics which are in direct contact with the ground or the wind.

What we see in ripstop is an amazing history of the military and the outdoor life producers who make goods dedicated to their needs using ripstop to simply give their goods a chance to last a long, long time, without ripping, of course.

We found this indigo dyed Japanese made ripstop recently and applied it to our favorite shirt, The Topper. Slightly western, slightly workwear by design.
