Our Story

We don’t just look American-made, we are.

Born of the American Spirit

We started Upcrafted because we saw something disappearing, the pride, the patience, and the honesty that used to go into making things. Somewhere between fast shipping and disposable trends, the art of true craftsmanship got buried under convenience and imitation. - So we built Upcrafted, a marketplace for American-made products where every maker we feature designs, builds, and ships from here. No outsourcing, no shortcuts, no “assembled overseas” fine print.

Our goal is simple: Bring integrity back to what we buy. To connect you with the people who still build with their hands, take pride in their work, and keep American craftsmanship alive.

The Story Behind the Name

We come from a family that believes in earning what you build. Immigrants who came to the United States in search of opportunity, and found so much more. This country gave us a chance to work hard, to build a life, and to belong.

We didn’t just make a living here, we became Americans.

Over time, our love for this country grew out of gratitude, respect, and a deep belief in what’s possible when people take pride in what they do. - Upcrafted was born from that same spirit, the American idea that with effort, integrity, and purpose, you can create something lasting.

Real makers, real stories.
Every brand we feature is vetted, validated, and worthy of your shelf.

American roots, curated tastes.
We lean into U.S.-based craftsmanship & local components whenever we can.

Longevity over hype.
We’re not chasing tomorrow’s fad, we’re curating things you’ll use today, tomorrow, and ten years out.

“Far and away the best prize that life offers
is the chance to work hard at work worth doing.”

— Theodore Roosevelt

Join the Movement

Upcrafted isn’t just a marketplace, it’s a community built on pride, purpose, and the belief that American craftsmanship still matters.

When you shop, you’re not just buying a product, you’re investing in the people who make it. Every purchase helps preserve skills, support families, and strengthen local communities.

When you sell, you’re joining a growing network of makers who care about doing things right. We’re here to help you share your story, reach new customers, and stand shoulder-to-shoulder with other brands built on integrity and craft.

Keeping the Spirit Alive

We’re on a mission to rebuild what matters, connection, pride, and the value of making things that last. Upcrafted brings together makers who care about their work and customers who care about where it comes from.
We believe the future of American manufacturing isn’t in giant factories or automation, it’s in small teams, real people, and time-tested craftsmanship that stands the test of time. When you shop Upcrafted, you help protect that legacy and ensure it grows stronger for the next generation.

Our Mission

Our mission is to celebrate and showcase local businesses that have chosen to stay committed to domestic manufacturing. Instead of mass-producing their products overseas, these makers create local jobs with living wages, keeping craftsmanship and opportunity right here at home.

We believe that when we invest in American-made, we invest in people: the welders, the weavers, the builders, and dreamers who give life to every product.
Their work strengthens our communities, fuels our economy, and reminds us that quality is something worth standing for.
